How long does an eye exam take?

Comprehensive eye exams typically take 45-60 minutes. This includes time for testing, doctor consultation, and selecting eyewear if needed. Please allow extra time for your first visit.

At what age should children have their first eye exam?

The American Optometric Association recommends children have their first comprehensive eye exam at 6 months of age, then at age 3, and before starting school. Regular exams help ensure proper vision development.
